Planning to Fail

Every so often, we come to a place in our lives where we hit a road block that stops us from achieving what we want. Personally and professionally, this happens to every one. We wander from place to place, activity to activity, person to person, wondering what's going to happen next. What else does life in store for you?

Here's the secret. Life has in store for you....whatever you want it to have. We have complete control over what happens in our lives. The simple law of cause and effect. You simply create the cause, and the effect will follow every time.

Sounds too simple? Too good to be true? Nope, it's not. You can simply cause something to happen by planning ahead. Don't worry about the effect, that will come every time. Just plan out what you want to accomplish. By doing so you are already causing something to happen. Plan ahead. By planning ahead you are creating your own road.

Think about it this way. Your driving at night, and you don't know exactly where you are, but you know your destination. You planned your trip ahead of time. Your headlights only show you 200 feet of the road ahead of you. Do you stop driving or do you follow the road knowing that there's 200 more feet ahead of you, and 200 more feet, and 200 more feet until finally you have reached your destination. You don't need to see the entire road to know where you want to go. Just follow it.

A man who fails to plan, undoubtedly plans to fail. Create a plan of where you want to take your life. 5 years from now, 10 years from now, 20, it doesnt matter. By doing so you are creating your own road map. Whatever is effecting you now is a direct relation to what you have created in the past. What you are now, doesnt have to be what you will become in the future. Do you want to be happy, develop a plan that will bring you happiness. Do you want to be successful? Well, develop a plan that will bring success. Plan out where you want your life to be in the future and little by little you will see yourself traveling that road. You just have to plan it ahead of time.
